Rub it in, why don'tcha?
I kinda suspected La ain't treating me right, but damn....I'm at $918 every 6mo just for state minimum, truck's an extra $985
My wife's brand new $50k 2014 Odyssey only costs me $641....wth...
Throw in the ole battle wagon XL Yukon for $355 and I'm throwing down $5800 a year!
I need a drink.....

Unless I'm bringing the rv home from storage after work, I walk by my beautiful F350 sitting in the driveway and get into a 2001 Chevy Impala for the 14 mile commute to and from work every day. A Chevy Impala that has an electrical gremlin that will drain the battery if I don't disconnect the battery between each use. So twice a day I pop the hood, screw the positive lead onto the battery, and drive it 14 miles. It's hard, very hard. But then when I get to drive the big boy, it's like winning a little lottery each time.
The Impala was given to us by my wife's parents after they bought a newer car. It keeps 28 miles a day off the F350, and it seems like every time I drive the F350 I put 200-1000 miles on it traveling somewhere pulling the rv (over 6000 miles in one cross country trip) so I figure every bit helps, and it keeps me humble. But it's still tough LOL

I think I would make my life a little easier and invest in a good $14 battery disconnect........of course I'm lazy also.

After driving my various Ford Duallys now for 14 years, it is very difficult to even drive a smaller vehicle! I love driving mine and go everywhere in it. And yes, Texas Farm Bureau is a fabulous insurer. They don't question why this woman wants to drive an F450 Dually as her 'grocery-getter' !

Why would they question your wants to drive a F450 as a "grocery-getter", it is quite apparent that your a highly intelligent person by your choice in vehicles.
I have tried to get my wife to trade into a F150 Platinum Crew Cab, but she seems to be overly fond of her SHO.
