Loud ticking..... Imjector or cam phaser?

it's not just Ford, my Nissan Titan did the same thing..Fuel purge solenoid , if I remember correctly ?

You got it Pilot...Canister Purge Valve in a Ford (CPV). Check this out...just found it.

That's interesting....... I would not expect that solenoid to cycle ate the same rate as an injector????

NStorm - Thanks for the response on the ticking sound. Mine is still doing it and knowing it is a normal sound puts my brain cell to rest.

A good stereo and you don't hear any noises except for the dance music my boss listens to whilst telling me how to drive from the copilot seat
