2004 Ford Ranger 4 cyl. 2.3L

a couple weeks ago the lights on my instrtument panel quit working. my husband was able to fix this rather easily. 2 days ago the windshield wipers quit working and now the truck will not start, however it seems to be turning over. so far my husband repaced a fuse, checked all the wires and relays, and a couple other things as well. still cannot get the truck to start or wipers to work. we recently had a pcm go bad in another vcehicle of ours, and i am so hoping this is not issue with the ranger. computers are not cheap. our ranger isnt anything special. no power windows, locks, seats, no cruise control, no tilt steering, no keyless entry, just your basic run of the mill vehicle. other than the fact that an extra key wil cost about 60 bucks, it is a pretty simple vehicle. Any suggestions on the wipers not working and truck not starting would be gretly appreciated. could this problem somehow be related to the dash lights not working? Could we be looking at another computer problem? Cant really afford to buy another computer right now, so i am hoping not.

Thanks

I can't help you but you may get better response if you to a website called "The Ranger Station" It's a site for and about the Ford Ranger PU.
