Well I'm moving and I'm finding out that having non-running projects is a major drag. So I bought a tow truck.
It's an 87 with a carb'd 460, DSII ignition, 5spd and I believe a L/S rear (F5 axle code). It was built as a tow truck with a Nomar hotshot body. It got both the sling and the wheel lift and just about everything works. The speedo doesn't, the coolant and fuel gauges are erratic and the steering box is a bit worn but other than that it's good. I paid $2,500 which seemed fair. It's only got a few thousand miles on a new clutch.
