Did you check the mirror to see if it has a set screw to snug it to the metal piece that is attached to the windshield? Some do, some don't. I've also seen some that just need to be slid down onto the metal piece harder to drive the wedge shapes together.

 

I dont believe there is a set screw but ill try seating it better before i leave from work today.

 

No luck on my mirror yet but my truck gave me a birthday present on Thursday....I walked out of work to this at 8pm...at least I was only 10 miles from home so my dogs were fine on back roads. Got myself a present and fxed it with some 5k HIDs!

 

Does anyone know if the king ranch interiors come in tan or just black with the king ranch leather? My seats are wearing through so I figured I could potentially make a change to the KR interior. Plus the steering wheel is all worn as well.

 

What is everyone's thoughts on a 3/2" lift with some machined face Rockstars and 33's?

This is the set of Rockstars i would get with stock size tires, as far as tires i was thinking some 33" BFG AT tires.

 

I am not wild about them, but that is my preference. To each their own

If I had to make a selection, I would vote for a stock set of Raptor wheels already wrapped in stock 33s

 

Not much for rockstars but do agree with Jeremey those raptor wheels are sweet!

Small edit.... I forgot Raptors came with 35's instead of 33's. You will need tires.... I think you should go with General Grabbers... Red outline will go nicely with the paint

 

Hmm I will see how much those rims go for I do love them and those grabbers would flow awesome with the paint job. I was thinking about getting some black lights like the f series Harley lights for it as well to make the wheel tie in better.

Edit: damn those wheels are expensive thy are going for 1200 for a nice looking used set!

That's a nice change of pace, i like that idea maybe we should stick to that tactic from now on lol. I only checked Ebay i will skim the craigslist from time to time.

Amazon prices the black ones at $240 per wheel but i think they are closer to $200, thats what i paid for the monsters on the F250

I can honestly say, I've never bought a new rim. My Ranger ones were new but I got the set of 4 off craigslist powder coated for $200. Everything else has been free or dirt cheap lol. The rims I have always liked are usually so expensive that I'd never even think about it lol.... WELD....

 

I guess I am a cheapie. LOL I personally like most of crager and U.S. wheels some of KMCs wheels but not many.

Also a huge fan of Alcoa forged aluminum wheels.... also very expensive.

 

That is just plain crazy plus in my opinion they look like ATV wheels. LOL
