I think the survey is a good attempt to find out what we are all about here on FTE. It was more geared towards the F150 but it is a start.

x2. I noticed the 1/2 ton questions as well. 1/2 tons have gotten so capable in the last couple of years, they are walking territory that 3/4 tons were at about a decade ago. IOW, 1/2 tons are going to be where the market is at for both homeowner and business use.

I seldom will do any on-line questionnaire as all it will usually do is give that survey company an IP or email address to sell to other on-line 'retailers' for future spam - and I have enough male enhancement, new car sales pitches, health care, on-line meds garbage being caught by the spam blocker now that voluntarily giving another that info is not in my best interest.

After spending 8-10 minutes working on that"survey" decided I didn't need to help some company sell vehicles so dumped it part way through.

For what it is worth, the survey does not ask for an email, and any other data (sex, age, race, etc.) you have the option to decline the answer. As for IP, all I have to do is take my modem offline (pull the power cord) and I have a new IP when it comes back up. If it is not the same for you, it is your ISP and you should complain to them.
Having done IT work for 15+ years before retirement, I thought the survey was pretty much generic and pretty much non-invasive. None of my protective software ever flashed a hint of warning.

Chalkie, got ya beat!
The first IT work was mainframes in the 70's and 'graduated' to pc's networks in the 80's.
First ones were Excel scripts on a bank of trash 80's from radio shack that went out to restaurants !!!!
but you are retired and I'm not - dang young wife can't yet
