1979 F150 300 I6 Vacuum help

Hello all!

I have a 1979, F150, 300 I6, 4x4, 1 barrel carb (Carter I think. The tag is missing), with no A/C. When I bought this pickup from our ranch neighbor it was pretty beat up. I'm slowly fixing everything and have made it to the vacuum system. What I am hoping to get help from all of you wise folks out there is do I need to have all of these different vacuum parts or are there some I don't need to buy or replace?

List:

1. Air Cleaner Control Valve is it also know as or is a component of the Thermal Vacuum Switch (TVS)?. Or are they two separate units?

2. Vacuum Reservoir. Should it have had one and is this needed?
3. Vacuum Restricter
4.Thermal Vent Valve
5. Vacuum Motor (replace?)
6. Air Cleaner Bi Metal Sensor (replace?)

I think the rest of what is supposed to be there I replaced or cleaned (PVC, EGR, Vacuum Check Valve, Ported Vacuum Switch)

Am I missing anything that should be there?

Should I leave the Charcoal Canister? It doesn't have any cracks or leaks. I'm not sure if the charcoal is working. Is it supposed to be hard or should I hear the charcoal moving when I tip it around?

Should I replace the the Distributor Vacuum Advance Control? It's the original.

How do you check to see if the WOT is working?

Thanks!

Dan
