Two most common:

The passenger side fuel line. Runs from bowl to back of head, along the way a support tends to rub thru and cause a leak.

Could also be fuel bowl drain, the o rings can degrade and leak. You can get the whole valve or just the o rings.

If you start with the fuel bowl drain, buy an entire fuel bowl overhaul kit from diesel orings.

Yep yep. The little o-rings in the fuel bowl drain will degrade over time, inevitably.

A new unit is available aftermarket for maybe fifteen bucks. And just four torx screws hold it on, it's very easy to replace.

There's not much room there to turn a ratchet, so use a ratchet with torx bit to break the screws loose, then use just the bit between your fingers to back them the rest of the way out.

The drain on the fuel bowl connects to a long twisty steel drain line (leading across the valley to pour on the ground) via a two-inch piece of flexible tubing. There may be hose-clamps on that tubing, but you can leave them off when you reassemble because that line isn't ever pressurized. All you need is a simple piece of flexible tubing (i.e. ordinary rubber fuel hose) from drain to drain line.

Did you clean the yellow bits of teflon from the oring seats on the fuel bowel? Its the coating from the old orings that you can remove with lacquer thinner. It will defininatly leak if theres any left on. Have someone turn the key on and off to cycle the fuel pump and watch the fuel bowel area with a light.

Like already mentioned, it may be the fuel line leaking. Find the source of the leak and fix that!

You might want to inspect the fuel line clamp behind the passenger-side CAC boot.

I never did clean the bowl itself the gentleman at the Ford dealer parts counter said unscrew 4 bolts slap the new one in there and be done but it definitely looks like there a constant drip coming from that new valve i just installed steady drip drip drip so i guess it needs to be removed once again and what would be ideal to clean it with wire brush sand paper ????
Thanks for all the help guys i really do appreciate it

No. just use laquer thinner and the tip of a small piece of cotton cloth. Its a smooth surface and abrasives might make small scratches and cause a leak. Just be sure its real clean and don't leave any fibers from the cloth on the oring mating surface.
