Factory AMP

Hello all

I am trying to find the factory amp in my 94 Bronco.

Does anybody have an idea where the D@!& thing is located?

Which stereo do you have? Most of the radios didn't have seperate amps.

It is the premium sound system. I had to get the adapter plugs
for it.

on my 94 the factory amp is in the dash und the steering wheel on the radio side . about half way up yhe dash

I found what I think is the amp under the dash but it has to plugs
side by side one is a short square and the other is normal.

The by pass kit only fits the one that is normal ???

THat should be all that you need. The only thing you need to bypass is the speakers. The power and ground wires will still be used like normal.

Thanks for the help it was under the dash and I had to cut one of the bypass conectors and hard wire it to the speaker wires of the new deck.

Factory AMP

I looked everywhere and only seen two plugs side byside each other one was rectangular which ran to the speakers and one was square that ran to the deck...the bypass connectors that came with the kit only connected to the connector going two the speakers and did not fit the square connector going to the deck so I had to cut that connector and wire it straight to the speakers wires from the deck.

Trust me I fooled around with this thing for hours and that was the only solution that I could come up with. This amp was not like the ones in the explorer at all.
