I was wondering if anyone can help me . I herd you can take a 351M head and make it a Boss 302 head W/ a little machine work. I need to find out if this is possible and if it is I need to get plans or instructions on how to do it. Any help would be appreciated. You can put in Boss valves and with some head flow work make your M heads work quite well..However they will not flow as well as a Boss head (at higher rpms) no matter what machine work you do.. The physical port size is not even close..Remember for street performance work the 2v clevland or M heads will work fine for more low end torque and even some good top end with a proper intake a cam selection. If all out top end HP is not your goal and you still like some tractability,stay with the 2v head.Remember the guy who pulls you out of that slow turn because he has low end torque,just might beat you to the next corner. Food for thought. Got to admit though,a well prepared Boss engine is a blast to drive too though..
