I currently am working on '77 F100 Flareside 351M/C6 2wd pickup. I have been reading up on 460 swaps, however most seem to be for 4x4 consideration. For the sake of my curiosity, if I were to purchase a 460 (complete--carb to pan...all accessories) from a '77 F250 Supercab 2wd. Would it be out of the realm of possibility to assume that if I took the engine perches from the Scab and mounts that this may be a bolt in affair? I know it will bolt to the C6, but am wondering if there would be any height differences to cause issues with trans mounts, frame bolt holes..etc. Any help is appreciated.
