SHow pics of your Ex with OEM Super Duty Wheels?

Anyone have an EX with OEM super duty wheels? 18's or 20's???

If you do, post some pics and let me know what if any mods you had to do to fit them, lift kit, spacers, etc.

'04 SuperDuty Lariat 18"s

I run a set of OEM '04 Lariat 18" rims, no mods needed for wheel figment, they were designed for leaf sprung Ford trucks like our EXs, these are the only plus sized OEM rims that don't need spacers because the SD trucks were still leaf sprung back in '04.

Close up

As originally mounted with 275/65s.

Now running 35" Nitto Duras in 305/70R18.

The EX has modded X/B code springs for a roughly 4" lift to fit the tires.

So does the 18s fit on a stock excursion with no lift or do you have to have a lift?

The tires shown in the first two pics are the stock SD size and would fit on a stock height EX, my spring swap allowed me the room to mount up the 35"s that I now run. Those original 275/65s are only about 32" as compared to the stock EX's 265/75s at 31.5" or so. They just looked silly on my EX as I had already done the spring swap and had a huge amount of wheel well showing.

I am going to need tires soon so trying to figure out the best way to get bigger tires and rims on it without a lift, might do the spacers and newer syle 18" rims

Thanks guys it looks like the 18's might be the way to go. Those HD wheels are nice but I looked at a few sets and damn they are $$.
