Just piling up and passing on the good words from a many FTE members over the years and a select few that post diagrams.

Thanks for the thanks, and thanks to all the guys that provided diagrams and info and do things like HIO Silver, provide way more awesome tech threads.

And some more.... like tilt wheel steering column break down. And thanks to Number Dummy we know that part # 3B661 is the culprit for a tilt wheel that will not lock.

FYI there are NONE that are NOS available and it is NOT reproduced according to him.

Another pic and some updates on windshield wiper switch locations, all thanks to ND.

Intermittent (delay) wipers were optional on 1973/79 F100/350's and 1978/79 Bronco's. Intermittent is not another name for low speed!

So if you have a SC with hinge open windows and need a replacement latch, you can get one off a 73 Pinto or a 73/77 Maverick, since it is the same latch. Part # 303A24.

Thanks ND.

1974 F250 instrument cluster connector.

Your information is top notch and I hope you can help me once more. I have removed the instrument cluster from my 74 F250. Connector 13 on the instrument cluster connector has two wires running to it one black (I presume ground) the second a kind of purple color. When the ignition switch is tuned to ACC the purple wire gets hot indicating to me that there is a direct +\- connection in this circuit. I have seen a schematic for this connector somewhere but cannot find it again. I need to be sure that this is wired correctly and what this wire runs to before I reinstall the cluster and close the dash. Can you help me find this information ?

Looks like on this one the PPL/WHT goes to the Low Brake Switch and then the Ignition Switch.

Maybe this will help?
