ehumaui:

I noticed your mods show a Diablo chip. The first gauge you should be looking at is a pyrometer and a larger exhaust. Since I have a manual tranny, I passed on the tranny temp gauge because apparently manual trannys don't have as much of a heating problem. I bought one, and had trouble installing it, so I asked around on this website. Everyone's better knowledge got me thinking, so I traded that in for the pyrometer and turbo boost. I installed them using a 2 gauge pod which I painted and installed this past weekend. The gauges are running great, and because I installed a larger exhaust, the pyrometer has stayed nice and low. I haven't towed my trailer yet, but I shouldn't have a problem. If your 2000 stock muffler is 3" like mine was, jacking up the hp with the Diablo will more than likely raise the exhaust temps.

I really like the post mounted gauge pod - if I did not have post mounted spotlights I would go with that one, with Pyro, Boost and Tranny temp.
