Hey where do you guys tap the power cord in so the MiniMaxx turns on when the key is turned on? I have been using the switch on mine for the year that I have had it now, but I'm getting tired of it.
In the kit was a wire to power the display, but I just need a place to to tie it into where it turns on with key on.

Well that was so easy I should have done it before I ever started the truck. The solid purple right by the park brake. So, so easy. I wouldn't want to say that I was lazy, but I'm very busy, that's why I didn't do it sooner. But really, I wasn't that busy.
Anyhow, I got that done...finally.
I also set up the high idle for auxiliary switch #4.
And I also changed the rear pinion seal.
And...I rolled that odometer over the 354,000km.
Gotta like a Super Duty!

Well, it's an ongoing battle. There is more than trouble with the deal. One is that it's way too good of a truck to sell. The other is that presently I don't seem to be getting ahead so that cash would do wonders. Everything seems to have slowed down I'm Alberta due to the oil slump.
Another trouble is that with the truck having 362K km on it, it's worth more to me than to anyone else.
I have considered listing it for sale in the USA because of the dollar exchange rate I would get a lot more for it while still selling it cheap. Compare $16,000 CAD to $11,152...
But who knows. I have a nice truck and so I may as well hang on to it...
I won't be putting as many km on anymore since I purchased a Jetta (yes, mine is still an emissions compliant one, not the 2.0L TDI) to travel more for less.

I don't do a lot of driving, but I do pull an enclosed trailer and a toyhauler. I bought the truck with aftermarket front springs, and hate how it looks when the front is higher than the rear. It gets much worse when I hook up a trailer. Even empty it feels balanced and handles much better. I might take the front leveling spacer out, but lowering the truck is not my intention.
