what to strip
so I came across a 67 f250 custom camper special that's going to scrap (cant stop that). I was wondering what I should pull off it first? This thing is pretty beat up but I don't want to see it all go to waste
so far my list is: Grille, radiator, fomoco spot light, instrument cluster, possibly radio
PLEASE add to my list

If it's got the C/S emblems still on the fenders I'll buy 'em off ya.
As far as you list goes:
1.If it has P/S or A/C then I'd say all brackets, pulleys, etc off the front of the engine.
2.mirrors in good shape?
3.all P/S stuff to sell as a "kit".
4.if P/b all that stuff to be sold as a "kit".
5.decent steering column?
6.exterior gas tank?

Window and inside door handle cranks are 1967 only as are the armrests. Windshield washer reservoir is a bag, same used on misc 1961/66 cars and 1965/66 F100/250's.
The choke bezel was only furnished with the cable, lighter bezel only furnished with the element. The heater used in 1967 is also 1967 only as are multiple other parts..
The A/C used in 1965/66 F100/250 and 1967 F100/350 is a hang-on unit.
Chrome bezel (includes 4 round registers, switches, blower motor, expansion valve and evaporator) same as 1963/65 Falcon/Fairlane, 1965/66 Mustang.
Look inside the glove box to see if the Camper Special only wiring harness is there, it was used for camper clearance lamps.
It was placed there at final assembly and stored there when not in use, plugged into the Camper Special only tail lamp wiring harness that has an extra feed wire for this purpose.
If it has P/S, will be the Bendix type: 1966/68 F100/250 2WD, 1969 F100/250 2WD before serial number D96,001.

I have a 67 Flareside so I don't know much about the Stylesides. I came across this post and noticed that ND mentioned that tail lamps were the same on 67 to 72 trucks. However, I have seen 2 different types -- One bezel has 2 mounting points and is smaller than the 3 mounting point one. Can anyone add to this?

C7TZ-13489-A Right & C7TZ-13489-B Left (10 3/8" long x 3 3/4" wide): Use without tailgate mouldings. See upper pic.
Stylesides with lower and/or upper tail gate mouldings (I've seen them both ways) and '70/72's with tailgate finish panels: C7TZ-99279A66-A Right & C7TZ-99279A67-A Left.
See 279A66/279A67 in lower pic.
