Has anyone tried removing rusted exhaust manifold studs in an Econoline without pulling the engine? it looks like with a right angle grinder I may be able to cut them off to remove the manifolds then I can hopefully get the rest of the stud out with vise grips??

 

Maybe, but be prepared to pull the head in case things go sideways. I had to have 3 machined out and Helicoiled.
