New memeber, with trans problems

Hi, i have a 2001 Ford F-250, auto and within the last 2 days I've had issues with the transmission slipping in od when transmission is at operating temperature. When overdrive is turned off, 3rd acts halfway alright, but has a slight hint of slipping, and as far as 1st and 2nd, those seem normal compared to how it ran/ shifted before. I have had issues with the harness that runs along the crossmember, due to a tree branch cutting the wires, but that incident happened over a year ago. I did check the wires that were spliced to make sure there was no corrosion, and any signs of a spot of resistance was replaced. The od light does flash but not all the time and the local dealership said the code was for an out of range sensor, which they thought the shifter being a little loose was the cause for that. Since the dealership diagnosed that issue, it's probably been drove 1000 to 1500 miles, which was operating properly before now. The slipping issue happened with no warning, like flipping a light switch. I was curious to see if any of you all have had similar issues. Any help is appreciated.
