With my windows up I occasionally get a slight whiff or smell of gasoline with the engine running. Doesn't matter if A/C is on or off. I crawled all under the truck and can't see any fuel dripping. Any ideas?
Did you have the spark plugs replaced recently? Many times when the spark plugs get replaced on the 3V motors, one or more of them doesn't get torqued down properly. The loose plug will allow the air/fuel mixture to blow by just a little bit and it causes a fuel smell in the cab. A friend of mine had this happen recently on an 05 F-150 after the dealership replaced the plugs. He took it back and had them re-torque the spark plugs and the problem went away.
I bet that's it. I did just do the plugs and the back right one was making a PFFFT PFFFFT sound. I pulled the coil, loosened the plug a little and tightened it back up. The sound went away. I bet it's still not all the way seated. I'll pull it out and reset it. Thanks!
