Hello, I already posted a question about this truck but there has been talk about me buying the truck from my neighbor. Either way, we need parts! Here is a little background info on the truck... It is a 1963 F-100 that I helped my neighbor get 2 years ago. The previous owner got it from his buddy and was in the process of restoring it. He rebuilt the motor and transmission, recovered the seat and did a few things here and there. Before my neighbor parked it, the truck ran great! It has been sitting for probably 2 years. It was started occasionally, but the battery went dead eventually and it hasn't been touched. I did go over yesterday, aired up one of the tires, and charged the battery but nothing happened. I may take the battery out of my Trans Am or something to see if I can get it started this week.

I have a few questions though... I know about LMC truck, but is there any other places that you guys get parts from?

2) The previous owner said at one point this truck was used on the border... SO, the wiring is a little messed up and only the headlights work, no signals, no cab lights, no tail lights... I am guessing there could be a switch somewhere. Is there a wiring diagram available? I would like to trace the wires.

3) The rear bumper is missing, where can I get a bumper for a stepside? (Not sure if there is a difference.)

4) The steering wheel is cracked etc. I thought about a grant on there, but really love the original wheel. Do they make new ones or am I going to have to find a nice used one?

I don't think this is ever going to be a show truck, I would like to actually use it and enjoy it and take it to local shows not expecting to win! It also has the original paint, so I kind of like the patina on it, I just want to do little things here and there to bring this old truck back to life and show the new trucks how to get the job done!
