Took it for a VERY SHORT drive (there IS still a bad ball joint to deal with next), and the difference is like night and day. It's not as rough as I thought it would be with "X-codes" and the Zone pack, but it does feel like a truck now.

Haven't decided on shocks yet, but as noted by others, the "Excursion" shocks aren't long enough. Even taking it easy, I reached the limit of the shocks often. I'll be digging through all the shock posts to see what I can find that is fairly budget-friendly. Brought it back in and started stacking boards under the rear tires to approximate what I need to do in the rear. I have 7 leafs plus the slapper, where most everyone else has (or had) 6 plus the slapper). It looks like I need to aim for 5.5 to 6 inches in the rear to be where I want it. I'll be starting a new thread soon as to not clog this one up.
Joey, If you are using the Zone Mini-Pack (small stack of short plates added to the bottom of the X codes) they will not affect the shock length, only the extra lift from the X codes will and a shock the same length for a pickup should work there. (Unless you also have added dropped hangars and/or shackles.) With the correct valving as Pirate has said.

Yeah, I understand that, being that the mini-packs are below the lower shock mount. No dropped shackles/hangers here so far. haha

CORRECTION: Somehow I miscounted the number of leaves in the rear springs- I have EIGHT, not seven (plus the slapper). Not sure what all is going on back there, but as you can see by the crusties, it must have been done a long time ago. I'd be interested into anyone's thoughts about what this setup is (it does explain the higher-than-normal measurements though). I need to go up 5.75 to 6 inches higher than this though...

FINAL MEASUREMENTS (with suspension bolts torqued, sitting on all fours for about a week...

FRONT- 29 inches (originally 22.5)
REAR- 30.25 inches (originally 25.5)

The math seems funny to me, but is sits almost level. and looks great.

FRONT- ATS "X-Codes" and Zone 2.5 mini-pack (I know, but it'll come in handy when I do the bumper/winch later).
REAR- Pro Comp 23311 springs, NO BLOCK, and one inch of zero-rate. Had to replace the rear shackle hanger (ATS), and apparently Excursion used a different hanger than the trucks, because the hanger dropped the mount point an inch, resulting in about 0.5 inch of lift.

Now all I have to do is figure out my rear shock length...

It would be nice if we added our wheel tire size as well to show what we clear.

My wheel are a 20x10 with a -12 offset (5" backspace)
Tires are Michelin 275/65R20 (34.1"x10.8")
update

first I did the b code modded excursion rear leaf pack that netted me about 2.5” in the rear making it

front 25”
rear 26.5”

tires were updated to a dura trac 305/55R20 (33.2x12)

That wasn’t enough so as of last week I went bigger again.

i added PMF 3” hangers to the front and PMF 4.5” rear blocks to replace the stock ones current hight is

28.5 front (I know it gained 3.5” wtf)
I need to do more measurements of the shackle part of the hanger kit to see if more than a 3” extension over stock.
28.25 rear
I was thinking I was going to be taller .25” or more

Current tires 35x12.5 Goodyear duratrac

How do you like the C Codes? Have you done any towing with them?
I'm trying to decide on B, C of F codes.

I’ve been running ATS X and Modified C’s for about 10k and love them. 18’ pipe trailer with my Kubota L3400 driven to the front of the trailer barely makes her squat. Actually levels out the rake!

Which mod did you do?
I am trying to figure the OEM-OEM height change estimate since I am 2wd and don't have the traction leaf or blocks.
Thanks for the info

I’m not sure what you mean by “which mod”. X codes up front and Modified C on the rear. I added 2” PMF shackles and hangers up front and 4” tapered blocks on the rear in addition to the springs to clear my 305x70’s.
Call ATS and ask to speak with Junior and he will be able to tell you what you need to know.

Just measured again, driver’s side is still about 1/2” lower than passenger side for some reason.
27” driver’s side front, 27 1/2” passenger front, 28 1/2” driver’s rear, 28 1/2” passenger rear.

Did you add any leaves on the back, or anything other than the blocks?
Some add the helper to the bottom, or a leaf from the Ex spring pack, or the traction bar from the Ex to get extra lift, which I dont need since my F350 springs up front didn't change my ride hight.
Thanks
