1964 F100 should I use ABS from Crown Vic
My project is a 1964 f100. I just bought the front and rear end out of a 2003 Crown Vic. I also got the power brake booster, master cylinder and ABS block.
My question is, should I get rid of the ABS or keep it? What is involved with each of those two options? If I remove the ABS what kind of proportioning valve would I need?

What little I know about abs, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.
The wheels have either magnetic or photo telemetry sensors that tell the abs motor when to engage and when to not engage,
So you'd need to figure out if there's an ecu element to the electrics, and make sure you have sensors on all 4 wheels or the system will error. (It expects to see 4 sensors)
Usually, the abs sensor is a ring / collar in the hub, that senses speed and if it locks up, the abs motor intermittently opens/closes to flap the valve.
I doubt you could make it work 100%. I also doubt it would matter as you don't have abs or non abs calipers.
Just hook them up to the correct MC and you should be golden.
