7.3 issues
So here's my issue. I have a f350 7.3. It was running horrible so I suspected a bad injector. I pulled the valve covers and went thru and unplugged one at a time with it running till I found the non functioning one or in my case 2. I replaced both and re did above test on them again before putting the valve covers back on. One checked it fine but the other did not. I swapped them around so I know it's not the new injector itself to test it. Seems I have one cyclinder not responding. Injector harness was checked and swapped so I know it's not the case either. Tomorrow I'm going to do a compression check on that cyclinder also. Would a dead or low compression cyclinder cause it to act like a dead injector? Any other things I should look at?

Of course a dead cylinder is a dead cylinder weather it's valve damage or piston rings, do you compression check and go from there if compression is good, you need to make sure the injector is getting fuel and oil through the passages.
