Hi Mark , fantastic work you've done there. I am also building my 51 F1 in my home garage one piece at a time. I was wondering if you got the hidden hinges from Hagan ?? I have been looking for a while for a quality set up.. I would appreciate the help...

Thanks.. Kade

Kade, I did use Hagan Hidden Hinge, along with their exterior mirrors and door card system to make my own.

Sold?

Mark,

I see the truck sold for $40k. I thought it would go for more with the right buyer.

Can you tell me what brand of multi-function rearview mirror you used and was it easy to install?

Cheers,
Tricky

Tricky... No, the truck never sold, especially for $40k. In fact, I consigned the truck with Streetside Classic's to sell for me. Here's the link to StreetSides ad: 1952 Ford F-1 |

They also have it on eBaymotors and other sites: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-F-100-/271931003704?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3f5059d338&item=271931003704

Regarding the review mirror I installed, it's BrandMotion.... link Brandmotion ? Back Up Cameras, Rearview Mirrors, Curb Sensors, Wireless Car Charging and More ? About Us they offer lots of options, HomeLink, etc

The truck did sale... back in late 2015.... I sold via StreetSide Classics for $65k. Win/Win. I just picked up a 66 Chevy Impala SS that I'm doing a RestoMod... if anyone interested in following, I can add the link to that build site.

Mark, that was an amazing build. Thanks for sharing. I just found it. lol

I am doing a restomod myself right now on a 52. I have the IFS, Power brake booster and Flaming River steering column in. Waiting on the crate motor and gathering other parts up.

A couple questions if you remember. You said the radiator fit the old bracket and mounts. Where did you get the radiator? What engine mounts did you use? (I am installing a 351W also). Thanks in advance. Tom

Hi Tom. Here's some info I hope helps you.
First, the fitted radiator. I bought from SummitRacing.... they have several to pick from.... try this link; https://www.summitracing.com/search/...num%20radiator

Second, the engine mounts. Since I used a purpose built new box frame, they take any standard Ford SB engine mount.... again, I bought Poly mounts from Summit. If you're using the original Ford frame, I'm sure someone make a conversion from orig frame to a SBF engine. Certainly, someone on this forum steer you in the right direction. If you're handy at fabrication, this would be a good project.

Good luck, Mark (if you need anything else, just let me know!)

Thanks Mark. I was going to fab my own mounts but sometimes it is easier and faster to get something tried and true. lol I have gotten a bunch of my parts from Summit so I will definitely check out the radiator. Thanks again.
