Mass air conversion help

I recently built a motor for my 89 f150 and from what I'm told the speed density set up may not work well with my cam, well I intended to switch to mass air anyway so that's fine! But iv done tons of reading on it and found some good info but not all what I needed. My question is what all I gonna need? What vehicles cam I ****** the parts from? Ect ect.. My truck has the 5.0 and the aod tranny. It would be great if Some one out there had some step by step info! Thanks
