Are the running boards on a 1950 supposed to be put on last during reassembly or first? I realize that all the pieces need to be left loose to make small adjustment/fitment tweaks. Just want to be sure I am not putting parts on and then realizing they need to go on at a later time.
I believe the earlier trucks had a large skirt on the running boards that went under the cab, where the later ones did not. If you have the skirted boards, it may be easier to put those on first, as my understanding is the skirt kind of wrestles under the cab and the fenders can be in the way.
