48 f1 Door Hinges
#2
The actual hinges themselves are not reproduced. The pins are reproduced. Those hinges can be a nightmare to remove. Those big screws can be REALLY tight. I'll be honest, I don't think I've ever seen one that was wallowed out. Usually, those pins are so rusted and fused into position, it takes a lot of work to get them out. To get to my point--show us a picture of where the "slack" is. Are you sure the door isn't out of alignment, and he's blaming the hinges for it? Does it have the original sized pins in place? Your body man might not realize the hell he might unleash by trying to remove those hinges.
Edit: I'm pretty sure oversized pins are available if needed.

I bought a set of good tight used hinges, then decided not to use them. My body man did some shim work on the cab etc. and the doors fit ok now. I have $220 in the hinges. If anyone needs them you can have them for what I have in them, and I will pay the shipping. Post here or send me a PM if you are interested.
