2007 f-550 stock with 80,000 miles blowing white smoke and no power with no engine light on. I was hauling a chipper going down the road when all of sudden the truck lost power. I pulled over and let the truck idle witch it did fine and I could rev it up in neutral . But when I put the truck in gear and tried to move it would run very rough would hardly move and blow white smoke. The truck would run like this to about 2500 rpm when the turbo would kick in then it would blow some black smoke and clear out. It would do this cycle every time I would slow down or let off the accelerator.

 

Might have injector going south or ficm. Check and see if any codes are stored

 

Sounds like an EGR valve problem to me.
