I found two, the guy is trying to round up 4 more. I paid $70 for that one so I can go home and test fit.

It'll fit. It's a Budd #89340 with 8R19.5" tire. I guess it could also be a #72070 which is 5.25" wide vs 6.00" for the #89340. Either is a solution to widow makers. Stu

I'm about to have a couple less real soon. Trading my 2000 Harley F150 in on a right hand drive Jeep Wrangler for the wife. (She is a mail carrier). The 5.0 in the 94 is actually a donor for the 52 F1. So it's getting torn down soon. The F500 is gonna pull double duty hauling junk cars for me, and hauling the F1 to shows when they are done.

Yes, very good why not try using the heater hose circut just buy some
heater hose & connect engine to engine (no heater connection) that
should get the 1994 heat into it.

Might want to give it a rinse first. Your '94 may not appreciate the mounds of sediment that may get stirred up.

Yessir, bought it from Rod out there. It's over here on the southside now. I'm loving this thing more everyday. After today's rain stopped I cleaned the rats nest off of the motor, and out from under the seat.

Engine bay looks a lot better now

Found some plugs under the seat, likely are the ones that got pulled out since the holes are empty. Looks like we got rust in at least one hole.

More under the seat treasures. I was surprised to find a lug tool behind the seat. Not sure what the J hooks are for.

Well, I put a socket and breaker bar on the crank pulley, wouldn't turn right, but turned left easily for about half a turn. Went back and forth a bit, seems to hit something solid. Pulled the valve covers, and the pics tell the tail. More teardown to come.

Houston we have a problem.

There are decent to good 272 and 292 Y blocks available. JMHO, but that one does not look very promising.

it'd be easier to find a 292 and replace that 239 ( i scrapped 2 of them , one from my f350 and another from a f150 ) seeing as they were oddballs despite being y blocks . abe i posted a thread on here about a 54 cab over engine flatbed sitting in a little town i run mail too and its in decent shape , mid sate implement in auburn is where its sitting , just don't know if it's a dump but it is a flatbed , an old farm truck from the looks of it . in decent shape too . it's got the v8 emblem on the grille also . so ................................ i got a pic of it but no way of downloading it to my 'putor right now ...................

Here it is Kevin. I posted about it too after going to see it. It has some very rare rear Budd to Dayton adapters I need if somebody buys it for parts. Also, it's listed in this week's shopper for $2950. Stu

The engines in 54 were red both V8 and 6 cyl. 1955 and 56 engines were yellow. The bigger 55 engines were still red though.....

That engine has been apart before, The drain tubes out of the rocker shafts should go out. One side drips on the timing chain in the front and the other drips on the dist drive gear. These are just dripping on the heads or WERE at one time

That head looks pretty ugly.
Those J hooks were most likely for the stake sides on your flatbed.
