It starts fine when driving an come to a stop an then accelerate it will just shut off an it will start right back up every time. I can hold the brake an accelerate an let off the brake an it's fine. If I am hooked to a trailer there is no problem at all does not shut off at all. Does anyone have any ideas.

Strange with the trailer deal, but may be just a coincidence. I'd get a ford or IH cam sensor and change that. Sounds like your problem to me.

 

It kinda sounds like a TC licking way to early
Holding the brakes would keep the TC from locking till you get going enough to overcome the locked TC

 

Sounds to me like the tin nut on the IPR has backed off and the solenoid is sliding back when accelerating. Just fixed this on a friends truck the other day.

 

My 97 Powerstroke had similar problem. Turned out the resistor pot in the accelerator pedal had a bad spot. When the computer saw the aberrant reading it shut down. I replaced the accelerator pedal and the problem stopped. Don't know if this is your problem, but its fairly simple to check of you have a VOM.
