Mustang II frontend shocks

While my frontend kit is fairly new, I just don't think it came with the best shocks. Has anyone changed or upgraded shocks and if so what brand and part number?

My TCI shocks and rubber bits bit the dust (actually thay were turning into dust) just sitting in the garage for a few years. I replaced my shocks with Monroes designed for the Mustang 2 Cobra. There may be better choices out there but these were very reasonable and I've never had an issue with Monroes. So, I'm happy.
