Morning George...I do believe Mr. Neil is involved in setting up a chicken bbq for his fire department. Something about 700 chicken halves. It's a shame he only got enough for himself!!!

He said if I brought him some Oreos, I can have a 1/2.
700 is a lot. Most we did at one time was 500 , and that kept us going.....ran out of beer twice.

Now...that is pi$$ poor planning!!! Remember...Neil likes those funky special Oreos...don't upset him by bringing the classic ones...you'll never get a chicken!!!

Not to bad. Got in some dust today and Golderod is in full swing so I am kind of suffering in that regard. Otherwise great! How about you?

Sounds good Steve. I am still under a leave restriction through the end of next week. Although the Blue Angels will be in town next weekend. And they will be flying from the local Air Guard base which is only 15 minutes from home. And they will be having meet and greets on sundays.

Part of the War of 1812 bicentennial going on this month here in MD. In fact I was just reading last night that the local national guard unit which is a decendant of the 5th Maryland regiment will be marching from Patterson Park in Baltimore to less then a 1/4 mile from my house. That is a 6 mile march. Not quite the distance that was marched back during the Battle of North Point. From what I hear the Prez will also bee in town next weekend. State has already said 95 is going to be screwed up next weekend and that anyone that stops to watch the air show or fireworks on 95 will be ticketed and towed if necessary. Luckily I wont be at Fort McHenry.
