I've just purchased a 1999 F250 Superduty. Love the truck, but the strap that allows me to lay the backrest of the rear seat is broken.

Anybody had luck getting the seat to release so I can attach a new strap?

 

I've tried taking the seat mounting bolts out to give me more room to get behind it, but that isn't helping either, it seems that the latch for the seat is to the side of the locking mechanism, making it so I have to get to the side of the latch... Any Ideas? Anybody faced this issue before?

 

Does anybody know where else I can go to get some help/advice?
