Love the truck, just couldn't get into it like I did my not forgotten 1978. . .ended up with a 1968 Mustang to tinker with instead A different driving experience to say the least!
Yes, yes I only came back to try and sell my truck I'm not much of a forumite anymore. . .more fun being off the computer than on. . .but I still would prefer someone who would appreciate a nice old truck to buy it rather than a contractor looking for a solid yard truck. This is still the largest collection of Ford Truck Nuts that I know of!
Any questions, please let me know. I'm will to take videos if you want.
Thanks,
~Steve aka Franken-Truck

If it helps you to buy it, then yes
In all seriousness, I can't think of a good reason it wouldn't make a 600 mile trip. . .though if I was driving I would break it up over a weekend (2 - 5 hour trips). . .I've never driven it for more than a half hour at once. But, she has never let me down around town.
If you did want to drive it back, and if you gave me some heads up I can perform a tune up and fluid flush on everything before your trip. . .run some fuel cleaner through the tanks, drop tranny pan and top off with fresh, oil change, ignition, diff fluid check/change, t-case if I can crack the plugs open, etc.
I can't guarantee it will make it, because sometimes **** just happens But with a little PM the chance of a break down can be lessened
Thanks!
