Trying to find bucket seats that will work with our truck. Want to go with a bucket and console. Just wondering if any body has any ideas? Thanks

 

Almost any late model bucket seats will work. All will require building a set of raised mounts and custom console. I doubt you'll find a stock console that will be able to be used since most are covered in molded plastic panels that fit a specific dash. I'd look at 2 person vehicles like Miata, Solstice/Sky, Camaro, Mustang for buckets with thin seat backs and or imports for comfortable narrower seats for more space for console between, especially if you are a big guy and/or are leaving the fuel tank in cab. My 56 Panel has 6 way power captains chairs (fold down arm rests) from a late model GM van. I made my own shorty console to leave the space between seats open for step thru access to rear of panel. Many are buying brand new second row van seats from handicap vehicle converters on ebay very cheap.

 

I used a set out of a 2003 Jeep Cherokee in my 56.
