Hydrolocked or Seized Need Info

Hi all, I thought I posted this earlier from my phone but can't find it so here it comes again. Tryin to determine if my truck is seized up or hydro locked. I did all my reading first, then headed out to pull glow plugs and I'll be darned if I cant get one single boot off with wire, the tool I made or anything else I've tried. I've got the new gp harness and tool on the way. Here's my ?? Can I pull injectors to see if I'm Hydro Locked? Would that possibly blow the injector cup or sleeve out of the head. I know its the long way around but I'm gonna be in there to check on some other work that needs done.

Get some craft wire or the like wrap it around the gp connector and pull up. Its much easer to remove the fender wells to do this.
Yes you can do the same by removing the injectors.
Do not stand over or near the cylinders when attempting to unhydro the engine. High pressure diesel fuel in the eye is an ugly thing to have happen

Just a guess that's where mine was when Hydro locked. seems like the back cylinders and Injectors take a hit from lack of fuel or some dam thing or another.

I have not had the fun of finding this out for my self.
But when you crank it over you may want to have a
absorbant type pad over the engine because that diesel
will spray everywhere.

Are you sure it is hydrolocked? Did you check the AC compressor, alternator or power steering pump to make sure they are not seized. If your motor stops suddenly a lot of times it is an accessory pump seizing that is the culprit.

X2 I had this happen to a friends truck.....

He put brand new batteries in it before I got there, truck would barely crank-but still would slightly-AC comp was stuck
