Any Upgraded Coolers Out There?

Anyone know of upgraded oil coolers or oil pan? Better cooling for coolant system? Better trans coolers. Have a tuner in my truck so hence the demand for more cooling when I really need it. I know these engines work/cool on a higher temperature platform but when your hauling a trailer uphill for a few miles in 90 or 100 degree heat, we all want a little extra cooling, or at least the option for it, as a piece of mind. Appreciate all your input!

I'm not tuned but I drag 14k around in 100° heat at 70mph and my cooling fan has only come on once in over 200,000 miles. I don't think it will ever become an aftermarket item/items.

When you need more cooling, the fan clutch engages. Like Joel said, it doesn't happen very often. It usually takes a 5 or 6 mile pull at max highway grade with max load to cause the fan to engage. The temps back off pretty quick once the fan comes on. I agree that it just seems to start getting hot rather easy, it takes a lot to max the system out.

I don't know of anybody offering much of what you are looking for other than Mishimoto is supposed to have a radiator available soon and IIRC it boasts a 20% increase in cooling capacity.

Thx guys. Maybe I'm getting carried away. Had my oil temps up to 248 and probably could have pushed it well into 250's so decided to let off on the go go pedal! I've read a few threads here on temps around 250 with not much worry but thought to myself ...shoulda, woulda, coulda.....you know how that goes lol! Anyways still appreciate any input from you guys out there.

I agree that the cooling system is a bit under capacity. I have seen my temp guage go far enough to the right that I was gonna back off.

I wonder if a thermostat change would help? don't think so. I think it just needs a bigger radiator.
