Ever get one of these locks on your car? I haven't - but just yesterday I got to watch a bunch of P.O.'ed Hooters girls support one other Hooters girl who was arguing with the two traffic cops who were putting a lock on her car while it was parked right in front of the restaurant. So it made for a comical view (this Hooters has nice big windows), but very poor service as it overloaded the blondes' brains. We never did get that plate of fries we ordered...

So, anyway, I found this: http://www.anglegrinderman.co.uk/home.htm

Thought y'all might get a chuckle from it or rant against him, but his pages are comical.

Best,

Except, that's a Demo saw, not an angle grinder, other than that, funny.

That would be my first instinct if they put something like that on my truck.. Fire up the Partner K700... Diamond blade anyone?

HA! when i was in the tech college the cop put a few "boots" on cars but that didnt last long.

- kid gets flat tire on the way to school, puts his CRAPPY tie on, and parks in the school where he shouldnt. cop "boots" the crappy tire, kid gets the good tire fixed, comes out to find the boot, removes tire with boot still on it, puts on repaired tire and drives away leaving a booted tire in the middle of the parking lot!

- another time he booted a car and the kid wheeled out a accetylene torch from the auto body class and torched off the boot!

the school cop doesnt boot cars anymore, he just has them towed

They should have named a steet after me at my Alma Mater. I paid so much in parking fines.

The thing with the boot, its great if you can get out of it, but if they know who's car it is you will not get to register for class or graduate until your fines are paid.

At my old school, they would even go so far as to trace your families vehicles to you. My wifes folks parked in a handicap spot to see a concert on campus, and they traced the car to my wifes family and stuck my wife with the fine.

I think his testimonials, and the words from his sponsors, are hilarious... I'm just wondering if I could be a superhero, too, if I bought a small generator to go with my new 4 1/2" angle grinder...?

could park the truck, with a generator hidden in it, beside a booted car and have at it while hiding behind the truck! Or just carry a super long extension cord with me...
