Cleaned up my new to me '05 F150 this am

Not a detail fanatic but decided to break out some elbow grease this am and clean up the new truck. Not looking too bad for an 8 y/o with 90K on it...

I bought some stuff called Detail Doctor + and it worked awesome on the old washed out plastic trim. We'll see how long it lasts. Should have taken some before/after shots but here's the after. Imagine a light grey sun bleached piece of plastic before application. I used it on the other plastic trim too, mirrors, handles, bed rails, etc.

I seriously thought I would need to replace this wheel. It looked totally pitted but it must have been a bunch of dried on brake dust and built up grease. Took a lot of elbow grease, a combination of wheel cleaners and a stainless steel gun brush, lol, but it came out great.

Be careful washing the engine. You can get water down by the spark plugs and that will cause a misfire.

Nice looking truck. I remember when my 05 was this small. Like the colour of your truck.
