condensation on carb

I recently switched from a Holley 750 to a Edelbrock 650 carb. This is on a 352. I'm still fiddling around with the idle mixure screws tuning it. I've noticed that once I get the motor up to temp (driving for a few miles) that there is condensation on the front of the carb. It's been rather humid lately and I'm assuming that the air temp drop across the primaries is enough to cool the body of the carb, and hence the condensation. Enyone else had this happen to them? I'm guessing that since the design of the Holley has the fuel bowls adjacent to the the blades, you don't get that phenomenon.

oops posted in the wrong forum..well I guess it's not "year" related

What you are seeing is akin to carburetor icing on piston aircraft- a major problem. When the air speeds up around the throttle plate at low speed or the venturi at power, the temperature drops, dropping below the dew point and freezing out the water.
The condensation will go away when the engine warms and heat reaches up from the manifold. I doubt that you will have any driveability problems.
