Last year I got my 89 f250 a huge project. I just got it on the road three months ago and just a few days ago it started leaking oil. I know for sure it's my pan seal, I'm debating on what is the best oil I should be using for my 351w. It has under 70k on the motor. I was recommended by my near by shop to use "Quaker State Advanced Durability 10w-30" but I could use some more opinions!

Ahhhh oil threads, welcome to FTE you started with an always fun topic.

I'll start with, there is no reason to use a 10W30 in anything that you change the oil in.

 

I would use either dino oil 10-30 or 5w-30 and it can be any brand you choose. Stay away from synthetic or your leak can become leaks.
