Rear ignition actuator rod

I am stuck! I have read as many posts on actuator rods that I can find. Thought my problem was front actuator rod. I have taken steering column apart to the point that I have exposed front actuator. It is fine. I can see that the rear actuator is broken but can't figure out how to get it out of housing. Any help would be appreciated. This is on a 2002 f-150 super crew with tilt wheel.
