1950 F5 rear brake dragging

I have a 1950 F5 parcel delivery and the passenger rear brake is dragging. the question I have is what way do you turn the upper cam bolts to loosen the brake shoes. I have found instructions on line on how to adjust the position of the brake shoes but does not say which way loosens or tightens the brake shoes. when the truck tires are off the ground I can turn the driver side wheels by hand but not the passenger wheels

Thanks Mike

The cams should be turned top toward the top of the axle to release the adjustment. There should be a slot near the outside edge of the drum where you can see the shoe and measure clearance. Don't forget the bottom anchor pins are adjustable, also. Use the visual slot

Those are just the 'generic' numbers, it depends on which year and model truck you are looking for. If you are talking about 48-52 F4-F6, the shoes are not available, but you can find shops that can reline them.

Edit:: I see that you have a 51 F6 COE the shoes would be Rear 91T2018-C/91T2019-C Front 92Y 2018-c / 92y 2019-c, but as I said above, you will find none available. I located a local clutch shop that was able to make and install linings at a reasonable price.
