I've been told it is on the assembly line now! Eta unknown still...

 

I put down a deposit and have an order form of sorts from dealer, I'm just not sure they actually placed the order with the factory. I'm getting the run around from them on a factory confirmation. They just keep saying: "Mr ........ has contacted our Ford rep for a progress report. I will let you know as soon as I know". Not that it is a big deal because I could just wait for the normal orders to roll into the dealerships and take advantage of any dealer incentives at that time. But i am just aggravated by the salesman bullsh.....

 

Placed an order last week...

Platinum, 701A Package, 3.5, etc.

Was advised by dealership that it looks like mid to late February before it comes in.

Anyone else hear that long of a wait time?

 

Mine is scheduled to be built on about 12/8.

that Red is saxxxy. It's funny, I've always likeed red and orange trucks, but never owned one.

Actually it looks like this picture is from the bridge between stamping and engine, that is where the trucks go to get accessories installed.

 

That white truck in the picture has a XTR decal on it. What trim line is that?

 

XTR is an option package available in Canada on the XLT trucks. It's very popular up here both with fleets and personal-use vehicles. In 2014, it added trailer brake control, backup camera, and bunch of handy stuff. I assume it's similar for the 2015's, although I haven't seen the Canadian order guide yet.

When will they start to build regular cabs? Are regular cabs built at both dearborn and kansas city?
