drive train identification

Deciphering what Im working with on this 63 I picked up. the left door code i dont think is much use since the registration vin and the vin on the door dont match which kinda sucks. anyway I thought I would have 4.88 gears but found a couple tags that lead me to think otherwise. Ill post up what I have and hopefully yall can help me out. Thanks.

What I do know:
4 speed manual with granny 1st (model #)
spicer model 24 transfercase

Are these dana 70 axles?

I want to try and figure out what size tires I should run to be happy at 65mph. it currently has 37s on it and I havent had it out on the interstate yet but tooling around town it seems ok.

Dana 60 rear end and Dana 44 closed knuckle front end. You can see the "60" just to the lower right of the access cover on the rear.

Same as my two 1966 F250 4x4 trucks as far as housings. Mine are 4.5x geared, but same outside.

Obviously your door tag is wrong if this is factory 4x4 because the F350 wasn't offered in 4x4 other than conversions in 1963.

See if you can find the VIN on the passengers frame rail. Mine are all on the top about even with the alternator. But 1966, again, so 1963 may vary.

The rear axle tag does seem to indicate 1965 so it might have been swapped out. Not positive, just sayin'.

1965 F250 Spicer/Dana 60 / 4.10-1 with Limited Slip.

F26 = F250 4WD / C = 292 2V / R = San Jose CA Assembly Plant / 342841 = 1963, assembled October 1962.

Warranty Plate is from a 1963 F350. No F350 4WD's until 1979.

The tie rod does not look the same as my truck but the rest looks the same
Does it have the 292 or was that changed, the tranny looks forward on the crossmember that should be mounted at the bell maybe just the angle of pic
