Rust Under Rear Sliding Window

Has anyone else had this issue? Truck is a 2011. Any idea on cost of fixing? Any input appreciated!

Mine is kept out side, lol

Almost looks like that seal dried out and got misshaped, allow water to pool in the gaps??

Guess I'll get some rust inhibitor till I'm ready to do some body work on the truck! #Texasweather probably had to do with the seal giving way (hotcoldhotcoldhotreallyhot).

I'm going to have to go out and check mine now. I know I have rust in the rear lower corners of the rear door windows. I need to pull the outer window seals off and touch it up.

Almost looks as if someone pried out on that lower channel in two spots. If this is the case I would clean it out, spray it with some paint or such and seal it with some exterior quality caulk sealant.

Following the advice of another thread here on FTE, the first thing you should do when you see rust, start shopping for a new Dodge/RAM.

Just kidding around, for those that have read the other thread....

It would take a large amount of rust for me to switch to a manufacturer that badges their vehicles with ovary emblems.

I've had rust there but it was twice as bad as yours. Ford had to replace the whole rear glass to fix it but it was all done under warranty.
