Shift are measurement from a Factory floor shift FMX

Back on the 52 ford again. Got a Gennie Shifter and got it installed, but it's made for a factory FMX with factory floor shift that has the shifter arm pointing up.

My shift arm is pointing down from a column shift car.

Does anyone have the measurement of the length of the factory arm? I am needing it so I can make a adapter bracket and hook the shifter up fully.

The shift arm can be removed and reinstalled facing up. I did it on my fmx to attach to an old mustang shifter. The shift points were off slightly when shifted down to the 1-2 range but seems to line up ok in the p-r-n-d range. It might work with your aftermarket setup. It is a dirty PITA job with the tranny in the truck. Replace the seals when you're in there.
