Try contacting Maryland Diesel Performance. I don't know how they are as a shop but they are at a lot of the truck shows and drag events in VA and NC. They have a very nice rig and it would appear they know what they are doing.

Are you certain it's actually the seal? That isn't a very common point of leakage. It's usually something higher up leaking into the valley and running out the drain hole, which will run down the back of the engine and make it look like bad a rear seal.

I checked the valley and it is dry. The oil is running out very fast. Not a drip. 260k on engine

Have you pulled the inspection cover and had a look up in there yet? There is also a high pressure oil rail plug on each end of each head that can leak. The plugs have a 1/2" square drive hole in them. It might be worth having a look at with an inspection mirror. It's the large one near the top in this picture:

02stroke, have you tried posting this in your local chapter? sometimes the folks there can really steer you towards someone/somewhere specific.

Inspection mirror would help, my bet is on turbo pedestal o-rings, as stated, rear mains are very uncommon. The valley is kind of split into 2 spots really due to a rise, but there can be leaks in the front of the valley and the rear, either from turbo, rear oil plugs, or if the front hpop lines/fittings, or plugs.

The inspection cover is the "dust" cover between the motor and transmission, underneath remove it to see the flexplate/flywheel and see if the oil is leaking from behind it since that's where the rear main is.

x2 on whAt Big Al said. I've experienced the same thing you're describing, before I reall got to know my truck. Pulled my engine out to replace the rear main seal only to find it was a turbo pedestal o-ring. Mine looked like a garden hose was spewing oil out of the rear main seal. Look at it this way- even if you have to pull the engine, turbo has to come off anyway. Why not start with it and see what you find?
