75 F700 oil

I just got a 75 F700 with a 361 and it runs fine but was wondering what all of you guys thought about running royal purple oil in it as I dont have much experiance with this old of a vehicle.

Not sure on the royal purple as I have never used it, but your engine has a flat tappet cam, so some of the newer formulated oils with less zinc can be hard on this type of cam/lifters.

You might want to check and use a zinc additive as needed.

Just a thought.
