Ray, I think it's coming along pretty good. The f 100 took me 6 years. I'm hoping I can do this one in two.

Joe, I'll be at Carlisle Friday and Saturday , leaving Friday afternoon to go racing at South Mountain. I try and promote y block racing. Saturday at lunchtime I'll be at the Crown Victoria Assn. tent for lunch. They usually park the trucks up on the hill. Dennis

I'm working on the truck again. Since I got a new hip I feel good again and can work on it. I've been wet sanding the paint and working on the inner fenders and headlight support panels. Dennis

Looks great Dennis! I see it's been a while since you posted an update, actually the first time I have seen your build thread since I joined FTE in 2015. I am now watching so share, share, share! Thanks, Dave

I got the passenger inner fender mounted. I have a new passenger fender, so I did a test fit and marked where I need to drill holes in the cab. Dennis

Time to post pictures again. I see we lost all the ones from the beginning. I bought a new passenger side fender.

15 years ago I was tiring of bodywork. I bought 2 new fenders for the '54. The drivers side needed some more work, so I put it away. I decided to get it out again and use it on the '56. I welded a patch in under the eyebrow where there were pinholes. We were camping last weekend, so I took the fender along to work on it. Had time to sand and fill. Got it ready for primer and paint, hopefully this weekend. Dennis

Looking good Dennis! Dang Photo Bucket I look at so many trucks here on FTE that I usually like to go back in the thread and refresh my memory of what our Trucks looked like at an earlier point. Guess you'll just have to reload all those pictures again

And I thought I was the only one who took truck parts along on family camping trips! I did meet a guy once in Northern California who was rebuilding a vintage briggs and stratton at his camp table. We were pals in a few minutes... BTW, Dang, nice one ton!

I've managed to take something along each time we've gone camping.

I got some more done today in between 2 service calls and taking a load of water heaters to the scrap yard.
